Instagram is a social media site that people cannot stop talking about. It is the second most popular social media site in the world, with people of all ages sharing their photos of various sorts, meeting new people, and conversing on various topics of their interest. I was not quick to jump on the bandwagon and join the site. I stuck with Facebook for quite a long time. And then one day there was a challenge made by a friend that I could not pass.
Challenge Accepted, Bro
My friend challenged me to get 2,000 shares for my video that I’d just created. Bro, you really think that I won’t work my hands day and night to win this challenge with MY product? Maybe this is the silliest challenge he’s ever put me up to. I remember the ice in the freezer so long ago. Of course I took the challenge. I was very proud of my video and this would only entice me to up the ante and make sure that I promoted it the right way. He gave me one week to do this and I was confident that I would be the winner of a cool hundred bucks this Friday.
I not only got my 2,000 shares, but I also got over 10k followers in just 3 days. The best part is that it didn’t take a lot of hard work to achieve this success and now my friend is astonished and broke! I could not be happier. Does anyone think that makes me a bad person? After a 15 year friendship, I think not! It is all in good fun.
You probably want me to cut the chit chat and get down to the nitty gritty. How in the world did I ever get this many followers in such a short amount of time without breaking a sweat? Well, the first thing that I did was improve my page. It has an awesome photo that simply makes people look. My bio is one that makes you want to know more. And, I use #hashtags like I am a #hashtag serial killer. Plus, I bought views. It was really easy to get followers on Instagram once I improved the page and made this purchase.
Help a Brother Out
Everything seemed to happen easily at that point. I asked all of my Facebook friends to share and follow me on IG and most of them were happy to help out. I posted my video on YouTube and asked people to join me on Insta. I was really amazed at what I accomplished but it only confirmed that my video was amazing. The key is to start with an amazing product. Then, finish with promotions, a simple purchase, and determination.
Think I will take my friends hundred and buy a few more followers and then take him out for drinks afterward. Maybe next challenge he won’t risk so much money.
